Berlin Adlershof - Facts an Figures

In the south-east of Berlin, a new city district is being created over an area of 1038 acres: "Berlin Adlershof – City for Science, Technology, and Media". It has already acquired an international reputation for its research results, products and services. It provides an innovative mixture of future-oriented businesses and scientific institutes.

Berlin Adlershof is now one of the 15 largest science and technology parks of the world. By the year 2010, an ensemble of residential quarters, shops, hotels, restaurants, cinemas, schools and a large landscaped park will have been created in the surrounding areas. One day, up to 20,000 highly qualified specialists will work in companies, around 3,000 scientists and scientific staff will be employed, 5,000 students will research, teach and learn, and up to 5,000 people will live in this City for Science, Business and Media.
